After working in wine yards we started our totally diffrent trip into the outback of Australia.
First stop was Alligator george! a canyon at the flinders range! the beginning of the outback.
Second stop was Port Augusta to get all the information, canned food for the next few days, water and fuel. To drive in the outback is really annoying.everything looks like the same but its also nice because of the diffrence from the rest of Australia.
Next stop was Coober Pedy! the Opal capital city of the world.Just 3000 people and almost all of them working in opal mines.parts of the town are under the earth! it is a strange town and feels unreal in the dust of the surrounding desert!
From there on we made our way to the red center- The Heart of Australia! Ayers Rock (Uluru), the Olgas (Kata Tjuta) and Kings Canyon (Watarraka) All of them are very huge red rocks but totally diffrent and pretty in themselve!
Kings Canyon was the first spot early in the morning! Its called "Australias Grand Canyon"! its not as huge as the american one but its also an amazing view if you look down the cliffs! in the heart of the canyon you find the Garden of Eden with a waterhole for swimming and many trees! a green oasis! the rim looks like many vespiaries. There we did a four hour rim walk! it was amazing to walk up, then along the rim, down into the garden of eden and after up again and down!
At the afternnon we made our way to Uluru! its a traditonal and sacred place for aboriginal people! We did a few walks, saw the sunrise and sunset ,which is possibly the famoust place for it in the world and at least did a free guided tour which was really interesting. we learned a lot about the meaning and the lifestyle of Aboriginies! I felt sorry for that people. Their land stolen from the white people and used to make money! The rock is the biggest rock in the world and still keeps many secrets which just aboriginies know!

At least the Olgas! a beautiful place and huge red rock formations. its also a sacred place and keeps a lot more secrets than ayers rock bacause its not that popular. There we did the walk of the winds! it was an amzing walk next to the huge rocks!
Can you see me?
All in all the red center is an awesome place! now we are in alice springs to start our jounney further north!
