roadtrip arround byron bay

early in the morning we went to the car rental station and started to drive to minyon falls! a waterfall with an awesome cliff!we did a 3 hour walk through the rainforest and went for a swim down the waterfall!
after that we visited nimbim. a strange city but interesting and nice to see! you feel like in the 70th. weird people! just hippies like in a film! nimbim is not tall, just one road with shops but worth seeing!
after nimbim we drove to the base of mount warning! the highest mountain in this area. there we slept in the car and woke up at 3 o clock in the morning to start climbing up the mountain. the plan was to see the sunrise. it was a bit to cloudi to see the sunrise but it was an awesome light and view! it took us about 2.5 hours in one driection and we had to climb over rocks and roots. in the darkness it was not that easy but it was nice!
after mount warning we went to springbrook national park. many canyons, waterfalls and rainforest.  it was to cloudi to enjoy the nice views. but definitiv worthwhile!. in the evening we had a barbecue and after that we slept in the car again. now i am back in byron and i will take the bus to brisbane in some hours. woodford is the next destination for tomorrow!

After four ours busdrive we arrived in byron bay! It’s a really nice place! A touch from hippies and alternative people. I really like this place! Tomorrow we rent a car an do a two day roadtrip to nimbim, mount warning and the close national parks! After that we will heading north to come to the woodford festival!

There we will spend Christmas and new year eves! Its good to move on! The last days in woolgoolga were hard work and to much routine! Now the journee continuous! :

tomorrow is our last day of work at the farm from peter singh!we worked there 10 or more ours per day-picking and rapping cucumbers and tomatoes and picking blueberries! not the nicest job and sometimes hard but ok to save some money :) .the farm is half an our away from coffs harbour -in woolgoolga.the owners are indians and a littlebit "brainwashed"-work work and work everyday.no relaxing just work! but its funny with them.they are nice and we alway get blueberries, tomatoes and cucumbers for free.during work we stayed at a caravan in a caravan park near the beach.i enjoy the time together with tom, victor and sarah! we are a good team!

canberra via sydney to newcastle, port macquarie, coffs harbour

from canberra we took the greyhoundbus to sydney.there we decided to buy a hop on hop off ticket to cairns. it allows us to stop at every town along the cost to cairns.our first stop was newcastle. a small city.there we vistited the blackbut reserve and swa our first koalas! at night we saw something awesome! the sea was lightning. i never saw a ridicules thing like this.
the next the we took the bus to coffs harbour. in coffs there 9 beautiful beaches. we went to a small beach.closed up with rocks. nobody was there! awesome!
now we arrived in coffs harbour. the hostle is perfect. there we can rent surfkayaky, kanus and more. also there are so nice people.we went for a roadtrip to doringue national park and saw some amazing waterfalls.also we went for a swim!
the best thing is we probably find work here. sounds like a perfect plan if we can earn some money before christmas! hopefully we got the job!!

Dolphin and whale watch-jerveys bay

at 8 am we started to drive to jerveys bay to do a whale-watch cruise. the weather was perfect. so we started our cruise. the beaches we saw were so beautiful. white beach and turky water! like paradies. the worst thing was we did not saw any whale :( ! just dolphins. but it was nice doing the cruise! After jervisbay we went to a lake covered with white sand dunes! on the other side of the dunes there was the sea! an awesome place to be!!finally we went out to a national park and visit the "big tree". a huge gumtree :)
nice day trip but i hope i will see whales at another day!

Still in Batemensbay

so long without internet. thats why i did not put new pictures on the blog!... Today its my birthday and since yesterday we stay at a new family at an old farmhouse near the bay. the farm is nice but the accomondation is bad... :/ we sleep on the hard and cold ground and we have to pay for it! what is this?! but the time before in batemensbay was so nice! we stayed at a family with Beth and Nikita. They were so nice and we enjoyed to stay with them! thanks for the nice time! also we had some nice trips. we have been to canberra for a weekend and joined a flat-sharing community. it was so fun! now we hope to find a job on a farm arround canberra! would be nice to get some money in :)
