Adelaide

Adelaide is a small city but it is nice.after arriving we met Giovanni and the other Italian guys who are working with us! We were looking for an accomondation and at least we found a hostel.its a dirty one and not the best but it is cheap and next to the central market and china town.so we can buy cheap food everyday.the center of the town has agood atmosphere. Everywhere is street music and it is really peaceful.today we worked the first time at the fringe festival! It looks like a really nice festival.maybe a bit like carnival?!

great ocean road

At the hostel in melbourne we found two more people to share a car and do the great ocean road.one french guy and another german girl.the car was a bit to small but it was ok.our first challenge was to come out of the city.after that we were looking for a tourist information center to organise our road trip.some hours later we had lunch at belly beach.we saw some nice lighthouses, had a bbq for tonight and found a nice campingspot in the bush!

The next day we packed all our stuff, ate some fresh raspberries out of the forest and continued driving.we saw the amazing twelve apostels and London bridge, had a bbq again and found a scary campspot.next to us there was a cattlefarm and at night time they started to shot the cattles.it was scary!! 20 meters away they killed the cattles and we always were scared to be hit from the patrons.

The last day we drove a long distance and did just some breaks at nice beaches.at night we found the nicest camping place next to a farm.

At least we arrived in Adelaide.the great ocean road is an amazing road and I really liked it. I think the southern part of Australia is the nicest part so far! The coastline is just awesome and unbelievable pretty!

Melbourne

Melbourne is a great city.probably my favourite city in australia.i ´ve spent there two days but they were great.i am sure I will come back after working in Adelaide! On the first evening I met marc.Now we are three people travelling together.the  second day we spent a lot of time at Victoria market.a fruit and vegetable paradies.also we visited a farmers market and the beach.in the evening we went to lentils at anything.a vegan restaurant.there you just pay some donations.after that we saw pinguins at the jetty. At least we looked for a car to start the great ocean road!

cairns

cairns from airlie beach we took the overnight bus to cairns and arrived in the morning! we walked arround and at the afternoon we took a bus to kurunda.a small rainforest town with a market.it was nice.there we met one guy and he took us arround in his car to some creeks and waterfalls.it was nice.the second day we walked through cairns and visited the botanical garden together with chloe :) a korean girl.it was really nice and fund together with her.for lunch we tried some korean food :) all in all cairns is very small.not much to do in the city.a highlight is probably the botanical garden :) now we are heading to melbounrne!

whitsunday sailing turn

whitsunday sailing trip three awesome days and two georgious nights! early in the morning we went on our boat called samurai!its a race sailing boat and finished many times the sydney-hobart race before.the crew was three people and all of us together were four chinese,three canadians, one frensh and one dutch.it was a nice group.the first day we saw whiteheaven beach.awesome fine and white beach, turky water and palmtrees.like paradies!! in the evening we watched the sunset and after that the stars! i never saw stars so clear and close before.i thought i could take a walk over the milkyway and fly on all those shooting stars.it was just awesome and so i decided to sleep outside to have this view for the whole night. the second day we did one scuba dive and went snorkling all the time.such a diffrent world.so many colourful fishes and corals.the highlight were some sea-turtles.awesome! at the evening we saw the sunset again and also the stars.i slept outside again.it was just nice! the last day we did a few ours real sailing.it was a lot of wind.the boat was almost horizontal on the water and very fast.it was exciting! this trip was one of the best things i did in australia so far.i really enjoyd it!

airlie beach!!

finally we are so lucky to arrive in airlie beach! after stucking in noosa we got a lift to rainbow beach.
we realized that fraser island is still closed.so we can not do the tour.that sucks but we can not change it!
over there we saw the sanddunes and had an awesome view over the "rainbow sea"
we realised that the greyhounds still not heading north and so we asked everyone if we can get a lift to airlie.in the end we were lucky and we found some nice people.after two days driving we arrived in airlie beach.three hours after us the road between rockhampton and airlie beach broke up.there is no way to come north anymore! we did it in the right time and we can do our sailing trip!

Stuck in Noosa

 

It´s unbelievable! I am at the sunhinecoast in Noosa and ist raining and raining.everything is flooted and closed.no buses south or north before Saturday! The sea is wild, the waves are huge.the water on the streets rises higher and higher! There is not much to do except watching movies, waiting, talking to other people at the hostel and eating J

Yesterday was the first almost dry day.we did a walk through the national park, jumped from the bridge and did pictures at the pool under water!

I hope we can move on soon to fraser island!!
